Show starts 9 am both days - ALL class entries for penning and sorting must be entered on epenner before the cut off, which is Monday August 31, 2026 at 6 PM

  1. At the finals, penning classes are designated for each number: to qualify and count for finals points and prizes
    • Open (4, plus rated riders)
    • Eleven (#3 rated riders)
    • Eight (#2 rated riders)
    • Five (N and #1 rated riders)
  2. There is one mandatory draw for pick penning teams in the 11, 8, and 5 classes NO draw in Open classes for a maximum ride of 5 in any penning class.
  3. Each penning class has a maximum 5 ride limit: combo of pick teams includes 1 mandatory draw or all draw teams
    • Open (5 rides) #11 (5 rides) #8 (5 rides) #5 (5 rides)
    • Youth teams are draw teams, the max is 2 teams
  4. To qualify for finals, you must ride 50% (4 days) in your designated class, to qualify in an alternate class for day money, you must have ridden in that class at 2 shows.
  5. Senior and Junior Youth riders must ridden in 3 shows. Lead Line must have ridden at 1 show.
  6. To qualify in sorting you must have ridden in 2 shows.
  7. Members have an option for a buy-in for finals. PENNING - Must have physically ridden 2 days then could buy-in 2 days at $400.00/day. Eligibility contained to the classes the rider physically rode in at the attended shows. Youth riders cannot buy-in to the youth classes. So if you only have 3 qualified shows you need to buy in $400.00 if you have 2 qualified shows then you need to buy in $800.00. SORTING – Must have physically ridden 2 shows. So if you rode only 1 show then you need to buy in $200.00

Format:

Penning Classes - two full goes and a top 10 – one full run on Saturday, one full run on Sunday – slowest to fastest for second run even if you did not pen a cow in the first run Saturday – aggregate carried to the top 10 in each penning class on Sunday. For the finals weekend classes are designated a rating number for prizes. Points accumulated on the 1st and 2nd run only.

PRO AM NOVICE Sorting Class - will be completed on Saturday after the penning classes are finished.

Following all completed penning classes on Sunday – Presentations to all the class winners –buckles; saddle certificates; prizes; and payout Cheque which should be about 20 minutes after the last class in order to complete all the points and print out the winning Cheque.
