2026 ACPSA Season

 ALL class entries for penning and sorting must be entered on epenner before the cut off which is Monday April 6, 2026, at 6 PM – don’t forget to enter the youth teams! 

Format:                                Show starts at 9 AM both days

NOTE: The 11, 8, 5 classes have a one mandatory draw rule when you enter a pick team in any of these classes no need to put in a draw UNLESS you are only doing draws in the 11, 8, 5 classes then you must enter the number of draws required for each class. Or put in a note on how many extra draw teams required beside your pick team.

• Open Class (1/2 sec hc) – all pick NO draw – unlimited entries - $60.00/ride ($10.00 100% paid back) - 1 run -  ½ back if less than 30 teams and 1/3 back over 31 teams - Top 5 (Top 5 go if there are 20 teams or more) – 60 sec
• 11 Class - pick OR draw – unlimited entries - $50.00/ride - 1 run - ½ back if less than 30 teams and 1/3 back over 31 teams – 60 sec
• 8 Class (1 sec hc) – pick or draw – unlimited entries - $50.00/ride - 1 run - ½ back if less than 30 teams and 1/3 back over 31 teams – 60 sec
• Senior and Junior Youth Class – all draw – 2 entry limit - $5.00/ride – 90 sec
• 5 Class - pick or draw – unlimited entries - $40.00/ride – 1 run - ½ back if less than 30 teams and 1/3 back over 31 teams – 75 sec
  • IF YOU ONLY WANT TO ENTER THE DRAW IN THE 11, 8, 5 classes THEN SELECT THE DRAW CLASS.  IF want ADDITIONAL DRAWS TO THE MANDATORY DRAW in a pick team then you can put a note in as to how many extra draws wanted.

NOTE: There will be a Trophy Buckle at each ACPSA show for the high point #1 rated rider in the 5 Class for each weekend show combined Saturday and Sunday points - Riders cannot win in succession.

Points are calculated for the weekend at each show day based on your placings from 1^st – 10^th place   (1^st = 10 pts * 2^nd = 9 pts * 3^rd = 8 pts * 4^th = 7 pts * 5^th = 6 pts * 6^th = 5 pts * 7^th = 4 pts * 8^th = 3 pts * 9^th = 2 pts *  10^th = 1 pt.)

Practice Penning: Want to familiarize yourself with the game and pick up some key points? We offer penning lessons at every Saturday show which will be held right after the 5 class. $50.00 for three practice rides made up of draw teams.

• Pro Am Novice Sorting Class (3 person) will run on Saturday only after the penning classes are completed - $45.00 entry – 1 run – ½ back if less than 30 teams and 1/3 back over 31 teams – 60 sec – Mandatory draw in the class 2 pick teams to 1 draw ratio or any combination to a max or 6 entries or ALL DRAW limited to 6 entries. Class combination: Pro (#4, #5, #6, #7), Amateur (#2, #3), Novice (N, #1).
